HOT WEATHER BIKING TIPS

Temps are Up because Summer is Here!
Here are some Riding Tips to Beat the Heat!

1. Dress Light. Sun is up and shining this summer. It is suggested to wear white or light clothes as much as possible because it absorbs less  heat from the sunlight. Also, shiny clothes are also applicable because it reflect most of the incident visible light. Dark colors absorb most of the visible light and are always warmer in the daytime.

2. Chill, Take Your Time. Don't push your limits. Comfortable biking is advisable for more healthy benefits. Because of more heat this summer, this will lessen some of your energy that cause you to get tired fast. Just take your time one step at a time and relax.

3. Hydrate Up. Always bring water with you. Dehydration occurs when there isn't enough water to replace what's lost through your body. Your system literally dries out. Hot, humid weather increases the amount you sweat and the amount of fluid you lose. More water for back-ups are suggested.

4. Minimize Your Load. Of course, much load will spend more of your energy. Load off  some unnecessary things during your biking trip. Just bring what you needed and your tools for emergency purposes.

5. Allow Time for Cooling Off. Everybody gets tired. Feel free to rest for awhile. Enjoy the scenery when your in the woods or in hills. Take some pictures with your bike and find great backgrounds for your selfie photos.
